  1. Thank you for being a company that helps people in a very professional way.

I have one last question please: from what I read in this very helpfull website, I need to work in my company for one year before I can applie for family residence.

My question is: what is the best solution if I want to bring my wife and little kids sooner and not wait for one year?

What if a bring my family and declare the bank statement that I have 6000€ per year (500€ per month)? will this amount be enough for my wife and kids or the kids need each 6000€ in addition?

Thank you so much and hope to visit the office of this company really soon.

    1. Hello,
      Thank you for your comment.

You can prepare an official invitation to Turkey for your wife and children and basing on your work permit they can apply for residence permit in Turkey, your salary would be enough.

      Best Regards

  2. Hello,

I have a job offer in Istanbul. My question is: Can I come to Istanbul with tourist visa (I am from EU) and while I am in Turkey my employee sort out my work permit? or is it a must to sort in Turkish embassy in my home country?

    Thank you very much

    1. Dear Jose,
      Thank you for your comment.

Both of solutions described by you are possible. Your employer can apply for your work permit before you come to Turkey so the procedure will be done earlier and you could start working soon after arrival or you can come on tourist visa and start application process here.

      1. Did anyone receive work permits recently. I heard that there is a processing delay of work permits due to system migrations.

  5. In the final step “employee applies to the Turkish consulate”, how fast is this process, and do you need to leave your passport with them while you do? My Finnish girlfriend would like to visit me in Copenhagen while it’s getting sorted. The question is if it’s possible, ie will she have her passport during this time?

    1. Dear Mr. Tom,

There is no need to leave passport at the Turkish Consulate during the work permit procedure. It could be needed only twice; during the appointment date at the Consulate and once your girlfriend’s work visa will be approved to stick it to passport.

      Best Regards,

  6. Hello,
I am currently applying for a working visa and my company is applying for working permit. As I understood from other websites, when the employee got the working visa, he/she has 90 days to obtain the residence permit after entering Turkey. Is that true?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

    1. Hi,

      Thank you for your comment.

No, that’s not true. A work permit is also a residence permit. You do not need to apply for a residence permit. A 90-day visa for workers is for people arriving from outside of Turkey. Foreign citizens coming to Turkey to work must do so within 90 days otherwise their work permit will be canceled.

      Kind Regards
